Symphonic Santa

QSO's ever popular Kiddies Cushion Concerts go Christmassy with Symphonic Santa, starring Children’s TV superstar Jay Laga’aia and led by conductor Peter Luff.

The concerts are a rare chance for kids to see a whole symphonic orchestra do their thing and learn about the instruments at the same time, while having fun singing and dancing along.

Meantime the music at the 50 minute concerts includes traditional Christmas tunes and a classical repertoire including Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Tchaikovsky’s Suite no 1 from the Nutcracker and Peer Gynt by Grieg along with Mozart’s Twinkle Twinkle Little Star while Christmas Carols include Little Drummer Boy, Silent Night and Jingle Bells.

Need to know – There’s plenty of room for everyone from babies to grandparents to listen, dance and sing in relaxed fashion at the piazza. Concerts are recommended for ages from toddler up to 7 yrs.
