Labyrinth
Metro Arts
Labyrinth, the 80s family movie classic from Jim Henson, the man behind The Muppets and Dark Crystal, is showing in a retro CBD cinema this school holiday.
Now celebrating 30 years since its release, the whimsical movie, which stars David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly, has become a cult classic.
The story goes that fifteen-year-old Sarah accidentally wishes her baby half-brother, Toby, away to the Goblin King Jareth, who will keep him if Sarah does not complete his Labyrinth in thirteen hours.
Need to know - The Lumen Room is the newly-refurbished cinema with vintage seats on the ground level of Metro Arts. Sessions are on Sunday July 2nd at 11am and 5pm.
