BrisAsia Festival 2018 is a three week line-up of traditional and cultural events for all ages, which celebrates Brisbane's cultural diversity.

From food and New Year festivals, mega outdoor parties in parks and on rooftops, to films, comedy, music and dance performances, art, yoga, tai chi, dragon boating and food workshops and tours, there's plenty of happenings to suit everyone and most of them are free.

With a mind-boggling 80 fabulous events to choose from here are some lively and colourful highlights you won't want to miss:

BrisAsia comedy: Wonton of laughs - Thursday 15 February 

All Inn Brewing Co is hosting BrisAsia's first ever comedy event, where Brisbane's Asian stand-up comedians including Ashwin Segkar, Ting Lim, MJ Wong, Red Simbulan, Suraj Kolarkar, and a few surprise guests will share their slightly twisted take on what it means to be BrisAsian...more 

Dumpling Day - Saturday 17 February 

Who doesn't love dumplings? BrisAsia is hosting a special day to celebrate these moreish little parcels, traditionally shared as a symbol of wealth amongst families and which come in all shapes and flavours from across Asia, from Tibet to Palestine to Chinese Jiaozi...more

BrisAsia Symposium - Saturday 17 February 

This inaugural event brings together arts practitioners, creative thinkers and cultural influencers to share, demonstrate, discuss and debate. Audiences are invited along to explore ideas and themes that relate to holism, mindfulness, creativity, art, culture and identity...more

Summer Party - Saturday 17 February 

BrisAsia Festival 2018

Inala Lunchbox Food Festival - Sunday 18 February
