Worthy Pie Co

West End

Worthy Pie Co in West End closed its roller door permanently in 2024.

Worthy Pie Co West End

Nestled on Boundary Road, opposite West Village, the pie shop offers a lip-smacking selection of savoury treats, ranging from the breaky-inspired Wake & Bake (bacon, egg and melted cheese baked in a flaky puff pastry parcel) to The Classic  (minced beef, onions and garlic in rich tomato gravy) and Doctor Pie - a  hearty pie filled with massive chunks of Aussie grass-fed beef, onions, garlic and heaps of cracked black pepper.

Meat-lovers are spoilt for choice with the above plus Joe Burls (chunky grass-fed beef, smoky bacon and cheddar cheese), Ned Kelly (minced beef and smoky bacon topped with cheesy scrambled egg) and Let That Shitake Go! -  chunks of beef and sauteed mushrooms in a rich savoury gravy.

If you like a bit of heat, try That's A Spicy Pie (grass-fed minced beef, slow roasted jalapenos and parmesan). Then there's the Cluckin' Good Parmy pie (Acacia Valley chicken thighs, ripe tomato and parmesan marinara, melted buffalo cheese, topped with a crispy parmesan puff pastry lid).

Worthy Pie Co, West End

Worthy Pie Co also caters for vegetarians and vegans with pies like The Boomerang (roasted broccoli, cauliflower, capsicum, zucchini and garlic in house made coconut curry sauce).

Besides meaty, mouth-watering pies, there are homemade pork and beef sausage rolls, The Jackaroo (spinach, feta and mozzarella rolled in flaky puff pasty) and Pizza Pocket - pepperoni, cheddar, mozza and tomato marinara wrapped in puff pastry topped with crispy parmesan.

Drinks wise, there's well-brewed coffee supplied by Industry Beans, as well as an array of cold drinks.
