WOOLLOONGABBA ANTIQUE CENTRE HAS MOVED TO AN HISTORIC CAMP HILL THEATRE IN AUGUST 2017 & IS NOW THE CAMP HILL ANTIQUE CENTRE.
A relative newcomer in the olde world stakes, the owners Sarah Jane Walsh and Megan Rizzo have used this to make a point of difference from other antique centres.
Located in a revamped saw toothed factory on the outskirts of the Woolloongabba Antique precinct, the inside has been cleaned up to create a bright aircon industrial 1500 square metre space without a hint of mustiness or dustiness.
Incorporated is a fabulous retro 1950’s cafe, all vinyl and formica, entertainment comes in the form of jazz trio the Butter Brothers on some weekends, a monthly pop up barber shop and even macrame workshops.
The emphasis is on Australian and French antiques and as well as a spiffing range of glamour vintage clothes and accessories, toys from the pre-electronic age and a spiffing range of inter war and post war wares and pieces of furniture.
