Villages of Brisbane – Paddington is an exciting event that is part of the Brisbane Open House program, offering visitors the chance to explore and discover the vibrant hillside suburb on Saturday, August 5.

Villages of Brisbane - Paddington

In addition to the traditional Villages of Brisbane program of buildings and spaces, talks and tours, guests to this year’s event will be treated to a feast for the senses as Brisbane Open House has partnered up with the Paddington Now & Then Festival to provide the added attractions of local food, fashion, entertainment and retail.

Villages of Brisbane - Paddington

Given and Latrobe Terraces will come alive as they celebrate the past and the present with the Paddington Now & Then Festival, a free outdoor event encouraging visitors to Walk, Shop, Eat & Explore this charming well-loved character precinct.

Villages of Brisbane - Paddington

Across the day people can experience the Terraces’ eclectic mix of boutique fashion and lifestyle, destination dining, art, music, tours, and special festival street activities. The historic, character lined main streets will be decorated with vibrant orange bows and will be full of surprises both new and old with over 100 Terrace traders to discover.

Villages of Brisbane - Paddington

The array of events and activities across the day will include: free transport in buses up and down the terraces (with vintage Omnibuses providing a free hop-on-hop-off service for the artist studio trail), guided walking tours, pop up vintage markets, a speaker series in the BrisWest Centre, and so much more!
