SOLO ESPRESO IN NUNDAH HAS CLOSED.
Nestled between the character houses and train station of Nundah is funky café and coffee hotspot Solo Espresso.
The orange and black exterior compliments the train station artwork adjacent to the café. This colour scheme is followed through to the interior with ‘à la mode’ sharp black ceiling fans, chic hanging light shades and a touch of the outside inside with tree wall stickers and replicated floral decorations on each table.
Whilst known far and wide for their exceptional coffee, Solo Espresso also serves up a selection of unique cold drinks. The Mars Bar frappe and butterscotch crème frappe are particular favourites on the menu. Served in glass jars, their in-trend looks are just as great as the way they taste.
The menu at this little gem takes inspiration from America and Canada with sweet and salty maple bacon waffles (savoury waffle on the menu) a must try. With all waffles made in-house, the chef leaves a surprise in the waffle batter that truly ‘makes’ the dish.
Keeping up with an influence from American, Solo Espresso offers bagel burgers in addition to their traditional toasties and breakfast delights.
Conveniently located opposite the Toombul train station, Solo Espresso brings in crowds who come for the coffee and stay for the striking décor.
