ELIZABETH ARCADE CLOSED IN 2016 FOR REFURBISHMENT AS PART OF A REDEVELOPMENT.

This bare tiled 1966 built arcade is home to the city’s edgiest independent fashion at one end and a host of colourful budget Asian eateries at the other.

In fact an Asian flavour permeates throughout, from the tiny bustling budget Korean and Japanese eateries, photo booths and fluffy toy arcade games to the wardrobe sized boutiques crammed with funky cutting edge gear.

Micro boutiques who have made this thoroughfare home include: Garnsis, who along with their own highly affordable label carry Mink Pink and Maurie & Eve; Verge for a cocktail of vintage mixed with My Sunday Feeling, God save the Frock and Fabled and True; Little Lace stocking Maurie & Eve and One Teaspoon; Red Cordial for Finders Keepers, Toi et Moi, Goddess of Babylon and Talulah and Violent Green whose collection - including Stolen Girlfriends Club, Karen Walker and Ksubi - spills over to their larger go-to store in Fortitude Valley.
