Dinosaur Discovery

Queensland Museum

Both children and adults can get up close and personal with 20 animated, life-size dinosaur models in the return of Dinosaur Discovery: Lost Creatures of the Cretaceous at the Queensland Museum.

Back by popular demand, this exhibition about the extinct giants of the Cretaceous period 145 million years ago is a magical experience for all ages. Among the exhibits you’ll see a T-Rex, Spinosaurus, Styracosaurus, Australovenator, and of course Queensland’s very own Muttaburrasaurus. You can also marvel at how they moved and the sounds they made, with each dinosaur being made to scientific specifications so they resemble the real thing in scary detail.
