The Green Edge

Windsor

Updated: Feb 23, 2024

Windsor is very fortunate to be the home of The Green Edge, Brisbane's largest vegan grocery store and cafe.

The store is well stocked with Fair Trade, organically grown, and locally produced ingredients which are pure heaven for all vegans who are lucky enough to visit.

After shopping, the comfy booths and tables are an ideal spot to sit and enjoy a Sacred Grounds organic coffee (prepared with soy milk), dairy-free smoothie or cold pressed juice, while tucking into a wholesome tempeh burger, tofu scramble, blueberry pancakes or a decadent slice of pecan pie.

Most of the food served in The Green Edge cafe is prepared in-house with an especially tempting range of sweet treats displayed at the front counter. In the fridge there are all sorts of unusual fermented drinks and soft drinks, and the freezer at the back has a huge variety of packaged meals, vegan cheeses and dairy-free ice creams to take home.

Nice to know - It is also possible to purchase a wide range of vegan ingredients via The Green Edge online.

Need to know - Access to The Green Edge is via Le Geyt St, where there is a small carpark at the rear of the building.
