The Sound Society

Roma Street Parkland

The Sound Society brings a laid-back afternoon of free, live music to Brisbane's biggest sub-tropical backyard, with its pristine lawns, glistening water wall and magnificent banyan trees.

Held at Roma Street Parkland monthly from March to November, the next Sound Society for 2023 is on Sunday, June 4 on the Banyan Lawn.

Artists change each month and play a range of music from jazz to funk, soul and beyond, so there’s always something new to enjoy. This month local band The Dawn Light will be playing and the onsite food truck will be Fritz Weiner.

Because no outing is complete without tasty treats, be sure to pack a picnic, or support local and swing by The Garden Room and pick up an expertly curated hamper, laden with home-made dips, deli meats and farmhouse cheeses. To view picnic hamper offerings or to order a hamper for The Sound Society, please click here
