Green Jam Unlocked

QPAC

QPAC’S beloved Green Jam is back, with a limited series of free live music events on the Melbourne Street Green starting Friday, November 6, 2020.

Green Jam Unlocked returns to QPAC, after a short intermission, bringing back free live music to get the weekend off to the right start.

Get into the weekend groove on Friday nights with the ever popular Green Jam Unlocked sessions - think cool jazz,  delicious street food and deck chairs on the lawn at Melbourne Street Green.

Here, music fans can pull up a chair, rug or bench under the fairy-lit trees and listen to live musos performing everything from jazz and folk to contemporary rock, over a two-hour stretch that sees the sun set and the stars come out to shine.

Kicking off every Friday from 5:30pm, Green Jam Unlocked features talented, up-and-coming artists from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, Digi Youth Arts and more.

Food is available to purchase on-site at Green Jam Eats, with an Italian-inspired menu including spiced roasted nuts or broad bean dip, and pizzas - such as the Jamon Serrano with nduja cacciatore, sweet red onion and mozzarella, Grilled Zucchini with salsa verde, salted ricotta and rocket, or Truffled Mushroom with taleggio and mozzarella. Pumpkin and provolone arancini with arugula and pecorino is another tasty treat on offer.

Drinks including craft beer, wine and refreshing cocktails like Aperol Spritz, are available from a pop-up bar pavilion.

Need to know - This is a licensed venue, with no BYO.
