Dayboro Cottages

Dayboro

Dayboro Cottages is a unique escape situated on a lofty ridge in Dayboro. Just a 45 minute drive from Brisbane's CBD, the cottages are perfectly located for those who are looking to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind, without the lengthy travel time that some country escapes require.

With spectacular views over the Dayboro Valley from each cottage, relaxing on the deck over a meal or a drink is a real pleasure. Cottages have their own BBQs on the deck and all cooking utensils are provided. In fact, all guests need to bring with them is their food, drink and clothes.

Dayboro Cottages and Llama Walks

A very comfortable king-size bed, beautiful linen and feather doona and pillows all ensure a peaceful night's sleep. If it happens to rain, the sound of rain on the tin roof is as good as any lullaby. A full laundry is very cleverly concealed in the cottage, should visitors be lucky enough to be having a long stay. A dining setting for two and a comfortable lounge area (complete with CD player and digital TV) round off this home-away-from-home. Undercover parking is available for one car per cottage.

Dayboro Cottages

Guests are advised to pack long pants (or jeans), a t-shirt, hat, water bottle and closed in shoes or hiking boots to do local walks. A camera is a must too, as this area is a photographer's dream.

Dayboro Cottages

Another unique feature at Dayboro Cottages is the Pizza Yurt. Guests are welcome to make and cook their own pizzas (cooking takes approx 20 minutes for each pizza) with either their own supplies or an ingredient kit can be purchased from Reception. Cooking kits which include trays, utensils, spray etc are available for a refundable deposit of $20. Another optional extra is a choice of breakfast baskets, ranging in price from $20 - $50.

Dayboro Cottages

Managers, Maryanne and Ed Kelly, are only too happy to suggest places of interest for those who are keen to discover Dayboro, or alternatively visitors can call in to Dayboro Cottage (27 Williams Street, Dayboro) where volunteers of the Historical Society will be only too happy to suggest "must-do" things to see and do in the area such as a visit to The Pitstop Cafe with its jaw-dropping views and quirky memorabilia, a lovely rainforest walk or exploratory day trip.
