The Queensland Art Gallery and GOMA, both situated in strolling distances of each other in the cultural hub of South Bank, are the premier galleries of Brisbane if not Queensland. Purpose-built GOMA is arguably the leading modern art gallery in Australia, hosting major global exhibitions on a regular and often exclusive basis.
