This dining scene in the historic wool store suburb is more low key than its happening neighbour Newstead yet there are some great restaurants that are well worth a visit. Vernon Terrace is where you'll find most of them, with Indian, Japanese, Pan Asian, Mexican and Italian eateries under the London Woolstores, including La Patrona (arguably the best Mexican in Brisbane) and Italian pizza institution Beccofino leading the pack.
