When it comes to fashion, Brisbane is blessed with shopping precincts to explore, suiting every budget and taste.

The Brisbane CBD boasts a wide range of mainstream fashion stores and department stores, popular with the all ages, plus a number of designers tucked away in historic arcades, such as the iconic Brisbane Arcade.

The inner city’s Fortitude Valley is the prime destination for the independent, offbeat and designer flagship stores, dotted along the leafy modern James St precinct, whilst the Euro-style Emporium is home to upmarket boutiques and a clutch of fresh, experimental, on-the-up young designers are scattered throughout Ann, Brunswick and Wickham Streets and surrounding laneways.

Paddington in the city’s west, and West End are also major contenders with a string of quirky, designer and one-off boutiques inhabiting character cottages and retail spaces. And, tucked away in the neighbourhoods of the north, south, east and bay are a growing crop of stand-alone boutiques that make a venture afield worthwhile.
