This hidden gem, found in a small, suburban shopping strip in Brisbane's southside suburb of Runcorn, is family-owned and operated. All creations are made onsite by the owner/pastry chef, who honed his skills in Hong Kong alongside top European pastry chefs.

Each dessert is a delicate, work of art including Tiramisu on Glass (an Italian mascarpone cheesecake), Valrhona Chocolate Torte (with warm, chocolate filling infused with orange liqueur), and BCC’s signature Coffee Crème Brûlée – made with Vietnamese ground coffee, finished with a thin caramelised top and paired with an oven-baked tuile basket and vanilla ice cream.

As well as delectable desserts, you’ll find a scrumptious selection of petite cakes and puddings in a range of heavenly flavours like lychee and green apple, citrus and strawberry, and the highly-recommended double chocolate mousse with raspberry puree, covered in dark chocolate.

Drink wise, there’s coffee, tea, hot chocolate, chai lattes and specialty lattes such as matcha and taro.

Nice to know – BCC Dessert and Cake also take orders for special occasion cakes and desserts.
