Friday at The Bardon Markets

Friday at the Bardon Markets offer the perfect evening escape, bringing together great food, live music and a vibrant community atmosphere, from the folks behind the popular Sunday Bardon Markets.

Located on the corner of Baroona Road and Rainworth Road, you’ll find a mix of local vendors serving up a diverse range of eats, plus entertainment to keep the little ones happy.

With plenty of outdoor seating lit by twinkling tea lights, it feels like you’re dining under the stars. Gingham tablecloths add to the charm, creating an elevated picnic-style experience where everyone in the family can find something they’re craving from the food trucks.

A must-try is one of Otto Cucina’s authentic, handcrafted Napoli-style pizzas, made fresh to order straight from their modified Suzuki Carry turned mobile pizza truck. It’s worth sampling the Margherita or the Carne, topped with Italian tomato, mozzarella, Grana Padano, salami and prosciutto cotto.

They also feature a live performance from local artists each week, giving you the chance to enjoy some of Brisbane’s best up-and-coming music and soak up the lively atmosphere. Along with the live music and food, there’s plenty of entertainment, including a rotating selection of experiences like a golf simulator and bouncy castles.

They also offer an extensive range of drinks, from coffee and herbal teas to refreshing non-alcoholic spritzes. They’re the perfect companion to your meal as you settle in and watch the sunset.

All of the portions from these delicious trucks are generous, so if you can’t decide on just one thing, it’s the perfect spot to grab a little bit of everything. Find a seat on the grass or at a table and share with friends and family.

You can’t leave without dessert! The soufflé pancakes are a must-try; generous, fluffy, and with plenty of ways to customise, one bite will transport you straight to the bustling streets of Tokyo.
