Yet another offering from Brisbane market doyenne Peter Hackworth, Riverside at the Gardens is the offspring of the Riverside Markets, which for 27 years presided on the waterfront down at Riverside on weekends before closing in late 2015.

The market makes a pleasant place to browse and grab something to eat if in the CBD on Sundays. On offer are Turkish Gozleme, Chicken Karaaage from Gourmet Tokyo, Steam’d dumplings and steamed pork buns, German sausages, Dutch Poffertjes, smoothies and iced fruit teas, while the coffee cart has sandwiches, cakes and ice-creams.
