Paninni's Italian Restaurant

Paninni's is a hidden gem of an Italian restaurant in Mt Gravatt East, offering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with intimate indoor and outdoor dining, serving quality Italian food and gourmet woodfired pizzas.

Located on Cararra Street, just off Nursery Road, the pizzeria restaurant is in a very convenient location for anyone living on the southside of Brisbane, and who loves authentic Italian pizza and pasta.

Paninni's prides itself on using seasonal, local produce and Italian imported ingredients. Their woodfired pizzas are made using an authentic 48-hour fermented process, cooked in a traditional pizza oven, using ironbark wood.

The delizioso menu includes Italian-inspired starters, from Fried Green Olives and Bruschetta to Polpette (meatballs in Napoli sauce) and Buffalo Caprese - Heirloom tomatoes, basil and Buffalo mozzarella.

Mouthwatering mains include Italian classics like Spaghetti Bolognese and Fettuccini Carbonara, plus pan-fried Gnocchi with pork and fennel sausage in Napoli sauce, and Penner con Pollo - chicken, sundried tomatoes, and mushrooms in a creamy, rose sauce.

Authentic woodfired pizzas - with either a polpa di pomodoro or bianci (white base) - range from Margherita and Funghi with a mix of porcini and portobello mushrooms, to 3 Little Pigs (salami, Italian pork sausage, and BBQ pulled pork) and Paninni’s signature pizza made with triple smoked ham, truffle sauce, mushrooms, and crumbled halloumi.

Do save room for desserts though, with delectable offerings such as Nutella Tiramisu, Pineapple Tarte Tatin, and Bombolini - Italian-style doughnuts filled with Nutella, served with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries.

Paninni's is fully licensed with a cocktail and whisky bar. For wine lovers, there is a carefully, curated wine list of Australian and Italian wines.

Good to know -  Paninni's can cater for special events or functions (up to 30 people). 

Need to know - Paninni's is closed Mondays & Tuesdays, but open for dinner every night and also for lunch on weekends.
