Twilight Jazz by the River returns to Queensland Maritime Museum Park on Friday, November 13, for an evening of free live music, big band jazz and sunset views over the Brisbane River.
The popular Bands in Parks series is the perfect excuse to wind down after work, with a beautiful vantage point overlooking the Brisbane River and Goodwill Bridge. Bring a few friends, settle in and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere as the sun sets and the city prepares for Friday evening.
As the afternoon turns to dusk, soak up the sounds of big band jazz with a live performance by the Australian Army Band, bringing plenty of swing to the riverside setting.
Need to know: The event runs from 5pm to 7pm, with entry via the gates alongside the Maritime Museum Ferry terminal on Lower River Terrace, accessed via Dock Street. The main Museum entrance is closed on Friday nights. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, with no BYO food or drinks permitted.
