Brisbane City Markets

Reddacliff Place

Updated: Feb 09, 2026

Every Wednesday, Brisbane City Markets transform Redacliff Place into a colorful, busy country-style marketplace, located right in the centre of Brisbane city.

The ex- Treasury Casino and the surrounding buildings of the CBD form a striking backdrop to the rows of pop up stalls  whic offer plenty of freshly picked and hand made produce as well as delicious street food.

At lunchtime shoppers and office workers  descend for a bit to eat, from the eclectice and international array of cuisines on offer, which might include Turkish pizzas and German sausages, Spanish paellas, Thai noodles and Brazilian barbecue.

During the afternoon, the city market clientele can be seen snapping up bargains and heading home accompanied by bags laden with stunning flowers, fruit, veg, and delicious gourmet delights, such as marinated olives, a box of chocolate brownies, or a loaf of artisan bread.
