The Moray

New Farm

The Moray might be one of New Farm’s oldest cafes, but with its cool contemporary look and foodie menu, you wouldn't know it.

The atrium style sunken corner café with its river breezes, leaf-patterned wallpaper and a counter full of fresh-baked treats is a great spot for a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner (on set nights) and top notch coffee.

The Moray

The Moray’s all day breakfast menu is packed full of temptation, some with an Italian twist: think Sicilian scrambled eggs, Breakfast Panna Cotta (with nuts, seasonal fruit and berries andhouse made muesli), Breakfast'n'Bed (toasted pumpkin pugliese sandwiched with bacon, feta, avocado, spinach and aoli). Other deliciousness includes Pumpkin French Toast, Costello Mushrooms (sauteed with chorizo, spinach and blue cheese) and The Moray (bacon, poached eggs, thyme roasted portobello mushrooms, chorizo and tomato jam).

The Moray Café New Farm

Delectable lunches include Mediterranean cous cous salad, Porcini mushroom risotto, fish & chips, Swiss cheese or sticky pulled pork burger as well as a small selection of pizzas.

The Moray Café New Farm

For dinner things ramp up a notch and customers can choose from Entrees such as pan fried quail, French onion soup, or twice baked crab and gruyere souffle and Mains such as braised beef cheeks, soy lime glazed chicken breast or spicy asian prawn salad.

The Moray

A small selection of desserts include Black Forest chocolate marquise, apple and rhubarb crumble, classic creme brulee or a cheese plate with fresh grapes, quince paste and dried figs.

The Moray

The Moray is fully licensed, so diners can choose from a small curated list of boutique Australian and international wines, spirits and craft beers to accompany their meal.

The Moray

Good to know - There's also a tasty kids menu for breakfast/lunch -smashed avo on toast, bacon & egg on English muffin, and popcorn chicken or fish and fries.

The menu may have changed since our visit.
