Area 51

Area 51 is a futuristic, space-themed play centre with a range of interactive and exciting activities for kids up to 12 years old. 

Located on level 2 of Westfield Mt Gravatt, with two entrances (internal and external), this out-of-this-world indoor playground features a large soft play area, interactive basketball and soccer games, a super climber, trampolines, a dedicated toddler zone, eight thrilling slides, a cafe and party rooms. 

Kids aged 3-4 can access the entire venue including Gizmo's Odyssey - a soft play area with various games, climbing apparatus, light-up slides and more - the trampoline area which has more than 10 trampolines of varying sizes, the Orbit Race, a small race track with bikes, and the Galactic Step. 

Children aged 5-12 can test out their skills on the Super Climber, a ninja-warrior-style course with moving platforms and obstacles. 

Astrotots (1-2 years) can enjoy a range of interactive activities in the Astro Explorer Toddler Zone, including a large ball pit, slides, games and musical instruments.

Area 51 also has a cafe with barista-made coffee for the adults to enjoy, plus multiple kids party rooms perfect for birthday parties and kids events.

But the fun doesn't have to stop there, with so much more to explore at Westfield Mt Gravatt from sweet treats at Yo-Chi to all-day fun at Timezone, Holey Moley, Cloud 8 Karaoke and Hijinx Hotel! 

Good to know - All entrances to Area 51 have gates for children's safety and parents' peace of mind.

Need to know - For best parking, enter Macgregor St via Kessels Rd, enter the carpark, turn right and follow the signs for the purple carpark.
