The Australian Sake Festival returns to Brisbane in 2026, taking over the John Reid Pavilion at Brisbane Showgrounds from June 19-21.

Here under one roof, guests can sample an incredible range of sake, feast on Japanese food and experience traditional Japanese culture.

Forty sake stalls will be offering more than 100 sakes to sample, from both Australian distributors and Japanese sake brewers direct from Japan, along with free beginner-friendly Sake 101 seminars led by a Sake Samurai.

There will also be sake cocktails and fruit liquors to taste as well as a range of Japanese street food stalls, whilst the entertainment lineup will include live Japanese drum (taiko) and traditional dance performances.

Tickets include 100+ sake to taste during three hour sessions, a variety of fruit liquors and spirits to sample and a tasting glass to take home. There will also be exquisite Japanese products available to purchase.

*Last drink is served half an hour before end of sessions.
