It's looking a lot like Christmas on Redlands Coast with heaps of festive fun taking over the city from Friday, November 28!

A Christmas trail filled with free family-friendly activities and events will weave its way through Redlands Coast spreading festive cheer far and wide.

The packed Christmas program kicks off with a free community event at Raby Bay Harbour Park on Friday 28th & Saturday 29th, which will include the annual lighting of the Christmas tree, carols, Santa photos, roving performers, craft activities, food vendors and the screening of How the Grinch Stole Christmas on Friday and The Santa Clause on Saturday.

Free movie in the park events will move to the Southern Moreton Bay Islands on Friday December 5th with a screening of Elliot the Littlest Reindeer at Russell Island Sport and Recreation Park from 4pm.

In a new addition to this year’s program, a free carousel ride – in partnership with Raby Bay Harbour – will also be available at Raby Bay Harbour Park from Friday 28 November to Thursday 4 December, operating from 4pm– 9pm on weekdays and 9am–9pm on the weekend.

Other attractions on the city-wide trail include nightly lighting displays at five Redlands Coast locations, an augmented reality coastal Santa appearing at multiple sites, a special AR adventure at the Cleveland Lighthouse and a range of Christmas-themed events hosted across Council’s venues.

Lighting installations will be available at the following locations: 

  • Raby Bay Harbour Park
  • Wellington Point Village Green
  • Cleveland Point
  • Redland Youth Plaza (Capalaba Skate Park)
  • Stradbroke Street, Redland Bay

While you're immersing yourself in all of the festive fun, why not stay, eat and explore the local area! From wineries, breweries, restaurants and cafes to outdoor adventures and natural attractions - there's so much to experience on Redlands Coast!
