Reveal

Mitchell Fine Art

Reveal is the title of a dynamic new exhibition from a selection of talented emerging Australian artists, at Mitchell Fine Art, Fortitude Valley, from 1 to 25 June.

The exhibition features works by Carlos Barrios, David Hayes, Deirdre Bean, Franck Gohier, Joshua Cocking, Maximilian Daniels and Mirra Whale, with styles and techniques encompassing surreal, abstract, pop, botanical and hyperrealist works. It’s taken 15 months to curate the works, with Mike Mitchell, Director of Mitchell Fine Art, having followed the careers of the artists for a few years.

“They are all artists of extraordinary talent and it is reasonable to assume that their careers will be both long and successful, “Mitchell says of the seven artists on show. “We are thrilled to be showing such an eclectic, high quality group of artists.”

Between them, the artists who hail from places as far afield as Darwin, Broome, Sydney, Brisbane and N.S.W.’s Southern Highlands, have been selected for the most prestigious awards in Australia including the Archibald, Paddington, Black Swan, Mosman and Blake Art Prizes.
