Pinati's Restaurant
Strathpine
PINATI'S RESTAURANT IN STRATHPINE HAS CLOSED.
Pinati's Restaurant in Strathpine has grown from humble beginnings as a vegetable stall in Savalalo Village, Samoa, to become a hub of Polynesian food and culture in Brisbane.
Tropical flower pictures and woven wall hangings give the place a unique Pacific Island vibe.
Three days per week, they serve authentic Polynesian cuisine as well as family recipes passed down from generation to generation including Pinati's curry, chop suey, and traditional sweets (fa'ausi). Look out for their lamb buns, coconut bread (fa'apapa) and generous BBQ meals with marinaded chicken, pork ribs, potato salad and coleslaw.
Pinatis Restaurant also sell a range of Polynesian clothing and coconut carved jewelry, and host a stall at the Samoan Independence Day Festival (held each year in early June).
Nice to know: Car parking is available directly in front of the restaurant. Pinati's also offer a catering service.
