Lace up your shoes, put on your active wear, and bring the kids along to AEIOU Foundation's Be Awesome for Austism Brisbane Fun Run and Family Fun Day on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

Head to the University of Queensland for a jam-packed morning of fun activities, delicious food, and live music, all for a great cause - to raise awareness and vital funds for children with autism.

Highlights on this inclusive event include a petting zoo, pony rides, an electric train, a carousel, face painting, and more.

Whether you walk or jog in the fun run or simply enjoy the festivities, you'll be making a real difference in our community.

Funds raised will support children accessing AEIOU's vital early intervention programs. "Many children in our care struggled in mainstream settings, and these funds will allow us to continue providing them with the support they need." AEIOU CEO Alan Smith said.

The Fun Run and Family Fun Day caps off AEIOU Foundation's Be Awesome for Autism month long campaign, which is about acceptance, inclusion, and celebrating the unique strengths of every autistic child.

Everyone in the community is invited to join the fun run or enjoy the family friendly activities, face painting, food, entertainment and more. Together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive community.
