Experience an unforgettable evening with award-winning, singer-songwriter Ella Hooper when she graces the Concert Hall stage at Redland Performing Arts Centre on Friday, April 5, 2024.

Ella Hooper

Ella made a dazzling entrance onto the music scene as the vibrant lead vocalist of Killing Heidi, dominating the late '90s and early '00s. The band clinched numerous ARIA awards, including the esteemed APRA Songwriter of the Year, with Ella making history as the youngest recipient and the first woman to achieve this honour.

Her distinctive pop-rock prowess, showcased in hit singles like "Weir" and "Mascara" solidified her status as one of Australia's most iconic frontwomen. Ella has seamlessly transitioned into a flourishing solo career, showcasing her songwriting skills in lyric-driven country, folk, and Americana music. The five-time ARIA award winner, including the prestigious Most Popular in 2001,  captivates her loyal fan base by seamlessly weaving personal anecdotes into the narrative of her shows.

Ella Hooper

This up-close and intimate concert at RPAC features a selection of enchanting songs from her chart-topping 2023 album, Small Town Temple, plus glimpses of her new music set to be released in 2024.

Joining her for this special concert is versatile multi-instrumentalist Michael Hubbard (The Blue Bottles, Eagle and the Worm) on guitar, dobro, banjo and harmonica. Opening the show is critically acclaimed singer songwriter, Melody Pool, who will also join Ella on stage for the show's close.
