Brisbane is gearing up for the adrenaline-pumping extravaganza, Run Army, so lace-up those running shoes and mark your calendars, for Sunday, April 21, 2024.

Run Army Brisbane City

Run Army is an exciting event which promotes resilience, health, and wellbeing across the Australian community, while supporting those who serve the community in uniform.

Combining the Australian Army and Queensland Police, Fire and Ambulance services, this event is open to anyone 5 years or over, across 5km and 10km distances. All entries come with a runners T-shirt, as well as a finishers medal.

Starting from vibrant South Bank, the 10km route takes you on a scenic journey. You'll dash across the iconic William Jolly Bridge, breeze by the Queensland Police Headquarters on Roma Street, and weave through landmarks like City Hall, ANZAC Square, MacArthur's Chambers, and the Volunteer Defence Force Headquarters – soaking in the rich history along the way.

But it doesn't end there! As you traverse Customs House, conquer the Story Bridge, and admire the Kangaroo Point Cliffs, you'll also be supporting a noble cause. Run Army fundraises for five charities dedicated to our servicemen and women, including Legacy Australia, Legacy Brisbane, The Queensland Police Legacy Scheme, the Queensland Ambulance Service Legacy Scheme, and the Fire Fighters Cancer Foundation Australia.

Good to know - $5 from each entry goes towards the charity of your choice. If you can't make it on event day, fear not – you can still participate by registering for the Run Army Virtual event for free!
