Jurassic World by Brickman

Queensland Museum

Jurassic World by Brickman® has unleashed an unparalleled dino-mania at Queensland Museum, and fans of both LEGO® and Jurassic World are in for a treat. This exhibit takes you on an extraordinary journey through the iconic Jurassic World franchise, meticulously crafted with over 6 million LEGO® bricks by the talented Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught and his team.

Jurassic World by Brickman

The Queensland Museum Network CEO, Dr. Jim Thompson, expressed his excitement, noting that 2024 has truly become the year of the dinosaur. He emphasized the significance of bringing this legendary movie franchise to life through the artistry of LEGO® bricks, providing visitors with an immersive experience like never before.

Jurassic World by Brickman

Minister for Arts Leeanne Enoch highlighted Queensland's rich dinosaur history, making the Queensland Museum an ideal host for this colossal LEGO® spectacle. She emphasized the Queensland Government's commitment to supporting cultural experiences and fostering a thriving arts and culture scene.

Jurassic World

Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught, the mastermind behind this LEGO® extravaganza, expressed his thrill at bringing the experience to Brisbane. With over 50 large-scale dinosaurs, props, scenes, and activities, McNaught and his team have pushed the boundaries of creativity and craftsmanship, creating models that are not only complex but also some of their most challenging to date.

Jurassic World

The exhibition promises an interactive journey, allowing visitors to walk through the iconic Jurassic World gates, explore the inner workings of the lab, and encounter life-sized LEGO® dinosaurs, including a jaw-dropping 2-tonne Brachiosaurus. The attention to detail is evident as visitors track dinosaurs across the island, come face-to-face with Velociraptors Blue and Delta, and witness the awe-inspiring presence of the mighty T. rex.

Jurassic World by Brickman

With 2.5 million LEGO® bricks available for creative exploration, the Jurassic World by Brickman® experience extends beyond the exhibit itself. Visitors can channel their inner ‘Brickman’ through various activities, from island building to LEGO® paleontology, and even constructing escape vehicles to outsmart a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
