Long summer Sunday afternoons will soon be here and what better way to spend them, than relaxing to the beats of big bands at Live on the Hill, a new concert series held at The Workshops Rail Museum on Sunday, 15 October, 2023.

Live on the Hill The Workshops Rail Museum

The concert series has drawn inspiration from a bygone era when sun-soaked concerts were held at the site and enjoyed by local music lovers. The first concert is a nod to the Rostrum committee and its support of local musicians by featuring Ipswich bands who will perform on the new Rostrum stage in the gardens in front of the historic Powerhouse building.

No Sunday session is complete without a scrumptious variety of food truck eats plus a licenced bar, both which you’ll find at the event to fuel an afternoon of lawn games and dancing.

Don't forget to bring your own chair or picnic blanket to relax and enjoy the iconic setting with your loved ones.  Tickets are inclusive of museum entry. Book your spot on the lawn for a spring Sunday session to remember!
