Sea Salt And Vine
Scarborough
Updated: Mar 10, 2026
Sea Salt and Vine is Scarborough’s hidden gem – a breezy seafront café under the fig trees tucked away inside the Scarborough Holiday Village.
The old caravan park kiosk has been transformed and extended to make Sea Salt and Vine Café, with a timber deck and tables and chairs dotted under the shady trees, resulting in a popular breakfast and lunch destination for Redcliffe Peninsula locals as well as holiday-makers.
Dining here is casual, with orders taken at the counter and an extensive menu of dishes and between-meal snacks to choose from.
Breakfast is divided into Something Light (such as ham & cheese croissant, fruit toast, BLT) Something Sweet (granola, French toast or American pancakes and more substantial mains.
Mains meanwhile include Bacon and Eggs, Eggs Benedict, breakfast tacos, lambs fry the Sea Salt Big Brekkie as well as sauteed mushrooms and caprese corn fritter.
For lunch, options include panko crumbed prawns, seafood parcel, grilled barramundi, beef ragu, crumbed whiting, fish tacos and burgers.
And for those who want morning or afternoon tea, Sea Salt and Vine has a range of sweet baked goodies including muffins, slices and tarts to enjoy with a coffee, tea, milkshake or juice.
There’s also a good Little Kids Menu, with breakfast options including half serve of bacon and eggs or French Toast, fruit and yoghurt or pancakes and, for lunch, fish & chips, pancakes, toasties or chicken nuggets and chips.
Nice to know – Sea Salt and Vine is both child and dog friendly. Pooches can be leashed to the trees in the shade outside and water bowls are on hand. For children, as well as plenty of space outside to go free range, there’s a box of toys and books available. Combine a visit here with a pre-or-post seafront promenade.
Good to know – On Sunday lunchtime diners are serenaded with live acoustic music.
Need to know – Free off-street parking is available adjacent to the Holiday Park entrance.
