Get set for a night of hilarity when comedian Kanan Gill brings his new stand-up show Is this It? to the historic Princess Theatre on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
Kanan Gill is an Indian stand-up comedian who rose to fame with the YouTube series, ‘Pretentious Movie Reviews’ where he reviews flawed yesteryear Bollywood films in a hilarious manner.
Kanan Gill ventured into Bollywood Films in 2017 with a major role in the Sonakshi Sinha starrer movie ‘Noor.’ In 2020 his stand-up special 'Yours Sincerely' was very well received on NETFLIX.
His rising popularity in India soon gained him international notice as well, and Kanan Gill got a chance to work in an improvised sketch comedy show, ‘The Living Room,’ on the American channel Comedy Central.
Kanan also wrote his stand up special, ‘Keep It Real’ for Amazon Prime Video which was released globally on Amazon Prime Video on 26th May 2017. In this hilarious one-hour comedy special, Kanan Gill squints at a variety of subjects ranging from the difficulty in talking to your parents to The Constitution of India.
Kanan has toured extensively across the world, including headlining acts at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, so don't miss him when he brings his show for one night to Brisbane!
