LUCKY CAT CAFE HAS CLOSED IN JANUARY 2025.

Lucky Cat Café, Brisbane’s favourite café for coffee and cat cuddles, has its spacious home in Annerley.

Perched on Ipswich Road and Villa Street, kitty corner from Chardons Corner Hotel, Lucky Cat’s digs include a gorgeous, light-filled cafe with comfy, velvet couches and custom built shelving stocked with purrfect pieces for cat lovers; from cat-themed  socks, mugs and more to cat toys and treats like Kitty Cappucino and Kitty Bitter cat beer.

For humans, there’s well-brewed Dancing Bean espresso. Try a catpuccino, cat white or long black cat, best accompanied by a delicious vegan cupcake or donut. Otherwise, there are T2 teas and frappes with cool cat names like Feline Fruity, Sour Puss and Meowgarita.

The main attraction at Lucky Cat though are the 8 rescue cats that reside here permanently. For a small fee, customers can cuddle and pat the cats in a separate room, furnished with lounges for guests, swinging cat bridges and a cool and quirky wall mural by street artist Barek.

Good to know - Starting from December 14, Lucky Cat Cafe is hosting 'Night Cats' sessions on Thursday and Friday nights - an adults-only event where, for $20, you get a complimentary drink and the chance to mingle with the cats in a serene setting, and while there you can also hang out in the cafe and play board games.

Need to know - Children 8+ years old are welcome.  Booking is highly recommended, especially on weekends. Parking is available on street and behind the building.
