Kusuka Corner

Sunnybank

Kusuka Corner brings a taste of Indonesia to Sunnybank with delicious brunch fare and Insta-worthy drinks and desserts.

A cult favourite in Sydney, Kusuka has opened in Brisbane, located on Level 1 in Market Square's multilevel car park building. The cute cafe with pops of neon provides dining inside the cosy space with tables spilling out front.

The all-day menu boasts delicious Indonesian fare from Papa's Congee rice porridge to Nasi Goreng - Kusuka's signature fried rice topped with free-range fried egg and your choice of grilled chicken skewers, fried chicken drumettes, or panko-crumbed chicken schnitzel.

There's a vegetarian Nasi Goreng served with seasonal veggies instead of chicken, and home-style Indonesian comfort food like beef bakso meatball soup, and rice bowls topped with marinated wagyu beef, grilled cherry tomatoes and soft egg, or crumbed chicken schnitzel, hash brown, and soft egg with pour-over rendang sauce.

Plus, there's a range of tasty sides from cassava fries and grilled fresh corn riblets to homemade risoles (Angus beef pastrami and creamy egg in deep-fried pastry) and handmade bean curd rolls with chicken and prawn.

Insta-worthy drinks include Kusuka mocktails like Disco Princess - a colour-changing concoction of mango and lemonade - and signature drinks such as Iced Pink Latte, Somewhere in the Clouds, and Blackforest - just like the cake but in a drink.

Otherwise, there are artisan lattes including taro, Biscoff and organic matcha, traditional Indonesian kopi (sweetened with condensed milk), espresso by Toby's Estate, and teas by Tavalon

Nice to know - Kusuka translates into English as I Love and there's much to love about this cute addition to Sunnybank's foodie scene.
