LA CASA NOASTRA HAS CLOSED.

La Casa Noastra is a Romanian cafe in the heart of Wynnum serving traditional Romanian delicacies, desserts and more.

Run by mother and daughter duo Cornelia and Alexandra Craswell, the small cafe on Edith Street has a couple of tables inside the vibrant orange, cosy space and a few more on the foothpath.

Inside the cafe, a display case is stocked with baked delights including homemade Romanian treats such honey cake and dobos - sponge cake layered with chocolate buttercream and caramel.

In addition, you'll find homemade tiramisu and cheesecake, as well as gluten-free goodies - friands, caramel slice and citrus tarts - plus vegan treats such as mudcake or chocolate and raspberry slice.

The cafe also offers classic breakfast fare like bacon and egg muffins and Big Breakfasts with bacon, baked beans, fried eggs, roasted tomato and toast.

Lunch options include fresh sandwiches and toasties, spinach and feta quiche, and authentic Romanian dishes such as sarmale (stuffed cabbage rolls served with sour cream and chilli) and mici (skinless sausages served with bread and sauce).

Drinks wise, therer's coffee, tea, smoothies, and milk shakes. 

Nice to know - La Casa Noastra also make special occasion cakes for christenings, birthdays and gender reveals.
