The Tree House Cafe

The Tree House Cafe is not only the quirkiest little (double storey) coffee nook in South Bank but it serves some of the best coffee to be had in the entire river stretch.
And true to name, its top floor is a mini loft lounge overlooking Grey St, with a back art wall, a 'garden bed' of vintage treasures along one side, and table top touches such as a treasure chest or 'Paris book' for a sugar bowl.
Back on street level, adjacent to the coffee kiosk is a wrought-iron fenced patio lounge of couches, tables and chairs also primed for people watching.
The well made coffee is from Supreme Roasters and other drinks available are milk shakes, frappes, chai lattes and tea, as well as a smattering of alcoholic beverages, for this tree house is licensed.
Meanwhile, food wise expect to find delicious daily muffins in varying flavours, cookies and toasties.
