Wellington Point Farmhouse
Wellington Point
Updated: Mar 10, 2026
Wellington Point Farmhouse is a rustic, country-style restaurant overlooking Wellington Point Farm, offering a farm to plate dining experience.
Housed in a massive shed at Wellington Point Farm, one of the few remaining operational farms in the Redlands, the cafe and restaurant share the shed with the farm's Market Hall, providing high quality, fresh fruit and vegetables to the public.
Customers can pick up an expertly-brewed espresso along with a sweet treat at the coffee shop that's open daily, or dine-in at the stunning, rustic restaurant - think vaulted ceilings with timber beams and exposed brickwork - overlooking the farm and its rich, red soil, with indoor/outdoor all-weather dining available from Wednesday to Sunday.
The menu crafted by award-winning, Michelin trained chef, Gordon MacGregor, features farm fresh produce, promoting a farm to plate, healthy eating philosophy.
Breakfasts includes simple fare done well like redberry and coconut tapioca, warm waffle with toffee banana and caramel mousse; zucchini puffs with poached egg and mint yoghurt.
There's toasted sourdough topped with everything from cream cheese, smoked salmon and capers, finished with fennel pollen; beetroot hummus, feta, confit tomatoes and spiced chickpeas; sauteed spinach, mushrooms, feta and thyme; and tahini smashed avocado with roasted pepitas, sunflower seeds and confit tomatoes.
Alternatively, there's Eggs Benedict, Chorizo sausage with house beans, poached egg & haloumi and the hearty Farmhouse Breakfast - housemade bacon, Lorne sausage, slow-roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, hashbrowns, beans, two fried eggs and toasted sourdough.
The lunch menu features small plates, share plates and mouthwatering mains. Small plates range from marinated mixed olives and Ploughmans Plate, crispy cuttlefish with gremolate dressing to grilled beef flank salad.
For something more substantial, there's Queensland barramundi with tomato fondue; red curry of wagyu beef crispy chicken thigh with farm zucchini, peas, parmesan & basil salad; and farmhouse beef burger; whilst to share you can't go past the Farmhouse Feast, which includes a selection of these dishes (min. 4 guests).
The Farmhouse is fully licensed with a carefully curated wine list (available by the glass and bottle), local craft brews and international beers, and top-shelf spirits; while non-alcoholic drinks include coffee, T2 teas, fresh juices, smoothies, thickshakes and soft drinks.
No visit to the farm would be complete without stopping by the Market Hall where you can pick up locally-sourced, fresh fruit and veggies, plus dairy products and pantry staples including milk and cheese, eggs and honey, nuts and condiments (jams, mustards, relishes and chutneys), with a deli and butcher.
Nice to know - The Farmhouse is kid-friendly with a dedicated children’s breakfast and lunch menu available.
Need to know - Booking ahead at the restaurant is highly recommended.
