THIS EVENT IS NOW IN THE PAST. FOR MORE GREAT THINGS TO DO AND SEE IN AND AROUND BRISBANE, PLEASE HEAD TO OUR WHAT'S ON PAGE HERE

Spy: Espionage in Australia reveals the personal experiences of secret agents and the curious history of espionage and counter-espionage in Australia, from Federation through to the present day at The Workshops Rail Museum from October 30 to February 6, 2022.

Using objects from the National Archives of Australia, ASIO and other security organisations, Spy brings the stories of spies out of the shadows and into the light.

You'll see genuine spy equipment, surveillance images and candid interviews with ASIO officers, get to play the part of a secret agent in the interactive family trail and test your skills at codebreaking and reading invisible ink.

Visitors can also explore 15 larger-than-life exhibits, get up close to locos and vintage carriages, drive a train simulator and spark their curiosity in the Sciencentre.

Need to know - Tickets to Spy: Espionage in Australia include entry to the museum and all exhibits. Visitors are encouraged to make a day of it and explore all the museum has on offer, with family tickets just $44.50 for two adults and two children.

A national touring exhibition developed and presented by the National Archives of Australia.

Exhibition and touring development supported by the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation, National Collecting Institutions Touring and Outreach Program, and Visions of Australia.

The Workshops Rail Museum is a valued partner of Must Do Brisbane.com
