PROOF BBQ HAS CLOSED ITS WOOLLOONGABBA OUTLET BUT YOU CAN STILL FIND THEM AT WINDSOR.

Proof BBQ, one of Brisbane's favourite barbecue joints, has opened a second eatery in Woolloongabba above a brewery.

Located above Easy Times Brewing, the boys at Proof are smokin' traditional, American-style barbecue on the custom-made Boss Hog Smoker, from the balcony of an historic building.

Inside, the barbecue bar boasts a stunning matte black and polished timber fit-out, with tables and chairs filling the open space and spilling out onto the balcony.

Lip-smackin' menu items include Proof's famous Brisket Burger, Double Beef and Double Cheese Burger, Southern Fried Chicken Burger and Pulled Pork Sammich with apple slaw and house made barbecue sauce. The new location also offers a delicious, pecan and herb stuffed portobello mushroom burger for its non-meat-eating friends.  

Otherwise, there's mouth-watering meats such as slow-cooked lamb shoulder, beef brisket, triple rack of beef short ribs, and whole or half racks of pork ribs.

Plus, there's buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce, mac n' cheese, onion rings, taxi fries (deep-fried chicken skin) and jalepeno poppers stuffed with cream cheese and beef brisket, wrapped in bacon. 

Make sure to save some room for the delectable desserts on offer such as Cheesecake, Makers Mark Banoffee Pie, and Pecan Pie with ice-cream and whiskey cream.

Good to know - Proof is child-friendly with a kids menu consisting of smashed patty cheeseburgers, mac n' cheese, and southern fried chicken tenders with fries or slaw.
