Phuong Trinh Restaurant
Inala
Updated: Mar 01, 2026
Probably the slickest eatery in the rustic Vietnamese town square that is Inala's Civic Centre, Phuong Trinh is excellent value at less than $20 for all dishes.
At lunchtime hordes of Vietnamese pile in for the delicious Pho, which with the sides of salad and rice, is almost enough for two. There’s elbow room only at the narrow tables laden with tissues, tea, condiments and chopsticks, but it’s half the social fun of eating here.
For something both different and copious try the fat rice noodles in pork broth – bun nam – that includes a mountain of fresh chopped salad, pork and delicate tasty fish cakes and prawns. There are also Chinese options including congees of flavours such as duck, also served with salad.
