Colours of the Season

Regatta Hotel

Toowong’s Regatta Hotel is the place to be this autumn as the iconic venue celebrates the changing of seasons with its Colours of the Season festivities, running through until May 31, 2020.

To mark the occasion, Regatta’s open-air courtyard has been transformed into an enchanted parkland, complete with a mass of leafy foliage threaded throughout the ceiling canopy and spilling down into the booths. Featuring accents of burnt Eucalyptus and golden pepper berry, the stunning scene culminates in the attention grabbing five-metre grand tree.

Complementing this autumnal setting is a delicious range of seasonal cocktails including an Apple Spritz (Aperol, apple cider, lemon juice & a slice of pear), a made-to-be-shared Picnic Punch (peach liqueur, white rum, white wine, lemon juice, apple juice, soda & seasonal fruit), plus fruity sangrias and Classic Negronis.

From Sunday March 15, the Regatta courtyard will also play host to its weekly Picnic in the Park festivities. Every Sunday throughout autumn (from 12pm-5pm), guests will be able to sample some delicious seasonal fare, including BBQ specials, grazing and cheese boards, po boys, and gourmet picnic platters. The fun doesn’t stop there, with a three-piece band also taking to the stage from 2pm.

So, don your best autumn threads and prepare to sample some fabulous food, drink, and all that is wonderful about this colourful season.

Need to know – No reservations are required for any of the Colours of the Season events. While Picnic in the Park is only held on Sundays, the enchanted courtyard is open all week.
