The Umbilical Brothers are bringing their new, mind-blowing, live show, The Distraction, to QPAC's Playhouse from 27 April to 2 May, 2021.

One of Australia's favourite comedy duos, David Collins and Shane Dundas, will combine unbelievable human performances with dazzling special effects, live on stage and on the big screen. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen, and nothing they’ve ever done.

According to Dundas, the bald-headed member of The Umbilical Brothers, “David and I have always imagined movie-like visuals when creating and performing. This time you get to see what we’re imagining, right there onscreen in real time. We’ll be wrestling with live special effects. It’s going to be pretty freaky.”

Renowned for their frenetic movements, vocal sound effects and verbal interplay, The Umbilical Brothers’ appeal crosses generations. Their popular children’s television series, The Upside Down Show, won an Emmy and a Logie award.

Their world-wide performances have taken them to 40 countries, including a year-long Off-Broadway run of Thwack, for which they received rave reviews from The New York Times. This international comedy phenomenon have appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, supported comedy legend Robin Williams, and performed for the Queen of England.

Don't miss the Umbilical Brothers when they bring their mind-bending comedy and back-breaking physicality to Brisbane in April.
