Wests Rooftop Bar is Brisbane's best-kept secret, overlooking Toowong's heritage-listed memorial park and open on Friday and Saturday nights.
Located upstairs at Wests Bulldogs Rugby Club, the bar features an open sky view of the sprawling historic parklands and white outdoor furniture with green umbrellas to match the setting.
The perfect place to wind down at the weekend with a cold beer of cocktail, Wests Rooftop Bar has a mix of old skool, international and craft beer available by the pot, schooner, pint or jug (XXXX Gold, Heineken, Tooheys New, James Squires Pale Ale, Kirin, Blue Moon, Mount Kosciuszko, Blue Moon, Furphy and Rodgers).
Cocktails include classic, Espresso or French Martini, Pina Colada, Mojito, Margarita, Pimms or Aperol Spritz (with the latter 2 available by the jug). There's also spirits, and a selection of Australian and NZ wine, sparkling and French champagne (including Mumm and Moet by the glass).
To accompany, there are bar snacks like shoestring or sweet potato fries, cheesy garlic & herb bread or mushroom and pea arancini or vegan spring rolls with more substantial casual meals such as burgers and parmigiana from the bistro downstairs.
