Why not make a day of it and visit Archie Moore: kith and kin, a jaw-dropping free exhibition at GOMA racing the artist's First Nations Australian and convict British and Scottish connections spanning more than 2400 generations over 65,000 years and Under a Modern Sun: Art in Queensland 1930s–1950s’, an expansive free exhibition of more than 140 paintings, sculptures, photographs and works of decorative art capturing Queensland in the mid-twentieth century at QAG.
