Easter Extravaganza
Milton
Frew Park is celebrating Easter 2015 with an Easter Extravaganza - a free family friendly event involving movies, fun activities and a visit from a famous bunny.
Kick off with a play on the state of the art park equipment, a bounce on the jumping castle, a rock climb or bungy jump, rainbow pony ride, visit to the petting zoo and some face-painting. While the children play parents and carers can relax and listen to some live music from Kate Street Mob Jazz Band and the Brizwest Concert Band.
The Easter Bunny and special guest Alice in Wonderland will be making an appearance at 5pm. Then come sunset it’s time to pull up a chair or spread a picnic rug and settle in for a free screening (at 6.30pm) of last year’s mega hit How to Train Your Dragon 2. BYO picnic or there’s a sausage sizzle onsite by the Bardon’s Lions Club (for a gold coin donation).
Nice to know – There’s a café onsite that is open in the afternoon for coffee, a shake and piece of cake or nibbles.
Need to know - No parking onsite (car park will be closed) but in the streets surrounding. Public transport-wise, take the 470 or 475 bus or, best of all, take the Citycat to Milton’s new Park Road terminal.
