Moreton Kids Festival

Pine Rivers Park Strathpine will be transformed into a world dedicated to kids for the 3rd annual Moreton Kids Festival, with a program full of family-friendly entertainment and fun on Sunday 13th October.

Families will be treated to free rides, live stage shows, activities, workshops, roving performers, food trucks, market stalls and more, with with excitement spread across five zones of fun.

The Active Kids Zone features a series of sporting activities to encourage kids to participate in outdoor activities and workshops including cricket, NRL workshops and NERF Battle Zone.

Then for those who like to make things, there's Sesame Lane Creative Kids with a host of hands on art and craft activities for young imaginations.

In the Green Kids zone, kids have the chance to get back to nature - here they will learn about recycling, engage in sustainable activities, enjoy a wildlife and reptile show and grow their green thumbs with exciting gardening games and activities.

A new world this year is Innovative Kids, brought together by Innovate Moreton Bay. In this world, kids will think outside of the box with augmented reality, virtual reality and robotic activities.

Then there's the Brisbane Kids Fun Kids zone for little adrenaline junkies who will get their thrill thanks to free rides all day.

Meanwhile there will be live stage entertainment all day long, with Nickelby the Magician, Flutter the Fairy, The Nanny Poppet show, and more taking to the Strathpine Centre Main Stage.
