Brat Kids Carnival

Playhouse, QPAC

Brisbane Festival favourites, Briefs, are bringing Brat Kids Carnival to QPAC for 2 shows only on September 14 and 15.

This colourful carnival, created by one of Australia’s most evocative creative collectives of physical performers, features a cheeky collection of jaw-dropping acrobats, eye-popping aerialists, side-splitting clowns, and foot-stomping music.

While the company is renowned for its bold style and risqué performances, Brat Kids Carnival comes with a family-friendly rating. The high-energy, variety show for all ages will retain unmistakeable elements of Briefs' swashbuckling self-assuredness though.

Noisy, fun and silly, these afternoon shows are all-out brat-attacks filled with mischief and mayhem, including hula hoops at warp speed, acrobatics at alarming heights, cheeky clowns wreaking havoc on stage and much more.

“At QPAC we are all about creating memorable arts experience for all ages, and I cannot wait to hear kids’ laughter fill the Playhouse as the mischief makers of Briefs perform in front of a home crowd,” QPAC Chief Executive John Kotzas said.

Don't miss this crazy fun carnival for kids when it comes to QPAC as part of the Brisbane Festival in September.
